Roberta Gordon is an environmental attorney with the New York City office of Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner and is the President of the Ida and Robert Gordon Family Foundation. Ms. Gordon’s law practice focuses on managing environmental risks in corporate, real estate and other business transactions and on environmental insurance, brownfield redevelopment and lender environmental liability matters. She has litigated environmental cases and counsels clients on environmental compliance and remediation. Her foundation work focuses on the intersection of climate and sustainable agriculture and food systems and other environmental challenges. In addition, the foundation supports women’s health programs, arts and identity projects, social justice programs, and other areas of need. Roberta sits on the Advisory Board of the Yale Center for Environmental Law and Policy and the Yale Initiative for Sustainable Finance. She is a member of the Climate, Food, and Ag Dialogue under Meridian Institute’s AGree Initiative. Roberta is also a member of Social Venture Circle, whose members make angel investments in startups having positive social and/or environmental impacts. Roberta has a law degree from the Yale Law School and Bachelor of Arts degrees from the University of California in environmental planning and public policy, with highest honors, and chemistry.
