Joseph Roman is the Environmental Division Manager for the Boston Branch of GEI Consultants, Inc., and has been practicing environmental consulting for 18 years. Prior to environmental consulting, Mr. Roman worked at the Harvard School of Public Health performing indoor and outdoor air quality studies. This experience and education has allowed Mr. Roman to incorporate a strong human health risk component into his approach to contaminated site cleanup.

Mr. Roman is on the Board of Directors for the Licensed Site Professional Association (LSPA), and has served as Chair for the LSPA Regulations Committee. Mr. Roman has extensive experience discussing project-specific and broader regulatory issues with the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (MassDEP).
