Lori Spagnolo, Delaware DNREC

Lori Spagnolo is a Planner with the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control’s (DNREC) Division of Waste and Hazardous Substances (WHS) Remediation Section. In this role, she serves as the Coordinator for the State’s Brownfield and Voluntary Cleanup Programs. Prior to this position Lori served as the Program Manager for the Division’s Strategic Services Branch, which provides operational support for all WHS regulatory programs. Previously, she managed DNREC’s storage tank corrective action programs. Lori has also held positions at the Delaware Nature Society, as their Associate Director for Natural Resources Conservation, and as the National Aquarium in Baltimore’s Conservation Policy Analyst and the EPA Chesapeake Bay Program’s Living Resources Fellow. She holds a Master’s degree in Marine Policy from the University of Delaware and a Bachelor’s of Science in Environmental Policy from Rutgers University.
