David Gamble, Gamble Associates

David Gamble is an architect and urban planner and Principal of Gamble Associates, based in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The firm focuses on urban revitalization and community development. David has taught at Harvard University’s Graduate School of Design (GSD), Syracuse University and Northeastern University. He is a former Chair of the American Institute of Architects Regional and Urban Design Committee and the Urban Design Committee of the Boston Society of Architects. He is a graduate of Kent State University and Harvard’s GSD. His research looks at the catalytic effects of urban design and planning projects with a focus on the creative design and implementation strategies to enable redevelopment. David is co-author of “Rebuilding the American City” (co-author Patty Heyda, Routledge Press, 2016) which looks at the catalytic effects of urban design and planning projects with a focus on creative implementation strategies.
