Steve Zemba, Sanborn Head and Associates, Inc.

Steve received his doctorate in Mechanical Engineering in 1989 from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Since that time, he has consulted and testified on matters related to health risks, air quality, and fate and transport of environmental chemicals. Steve is a member of the ITRC PFAS team and has contributed to the team’s writings on air media and the importance of atmospheric deposition of PFAS as a source of soil and groundwater contamination. He has presented on these and other PFAS topics as an invited speaker to regional and national conferences. Steve is also an adjunct faculty member at The University of Massachusetts Lowell and Norwich University where he teaches courses in Air Pollution Control and Environmental Engineering.
