Ryan McCune is the director of business development for the State of New York at Nexamp Solar, the largest owner-operator of Community Solar systems in New York State. Ryan has worked across the State on Greenfield and Brownfield installations alike. Working with the Nexamp team, him and his teammates have permitted, financed and built more than 54 projects and 204MWdc of DG in NYS since 2016, with an additional 33 sites under construction in 2022-2024. Ryan is passionate about working with municipalities to create smart planning doctrines that encourage thoughtful re-use of underutilized, contaminated or otherwise marginal land, while building tax bases and strengthening utility infrastructure through Distributed Generation Installations.
