George Duke is a partner in Connell Foley LLP’s Environmental Law group. He has coordinated hundreds of brownfield redevelopment projects over the years and helps businesses navigate complex environmental and land use laws and regulations across various transactions and projects. As a former project manager and hydrogeologist, he understands the technical and scientific basis behind environmental legal determinations and provides his clients with informed and creative solutions. In addition, George handles environmental enforcement actions pertaining to petroleum and chemical bulk storage facilities, wetlands, and various commercial and industrial facilities. George has authored several articles on the development of Liquified Natural Gas in New York State, brownfield redevelopment, solid waste and site remediation. He also lectures frequently on environmental topics and professional responsibility in environmental law.
