The Northeast Sustainable Communities Workshop (NSCW) returns in 2026 with a renewed mission and a powerful theme: From Contamination to Community Assets. This year, we’re shining a spotlight on the transformative work that turns challenged properties into catalysts for revitalization, resilience, and opportunity.
Hosted by BCONE, NSCW brings together the full spectrum of brownfield and community redevelopment professionals—developers, environmental consultants, attorneys, agency representatives, funders, community voices, and innovators—ready to exchange ideas and accelerate progress.
For 2026, we’re gathering earlier in the year (June 16-27, 2026) to expand access and maximize participation, ensuring that more voices and perspectives can help shape the conversations that matter most. NSCW will take place at the MGM Springfield Casino & Resort in Springfield, MA, a dynamic destination that blends comfort, connection, and top-tier amenities.
NSCW 2026 offers a vibrant two-day experience featuring interactive sessions, real-world redevelopment journeys, and forward-thinking strategies driving environmental, economic, and community impact across the Northeast. More than a conference, NSCW is an immersive forum designed to spark innovation, foster collaboration, and push the boundaries of what’s possible in the sustainability and brownfield redevelopment space.
Whether you’re leading complex projects or just beginning to explore this field, NSCW 2026 provides a unique platform for learning, networking, and action — where ideas evolve, and communities thrive.
