Ms. McSwieney is a Senior Consultant and Branch Manager at GEI’s Bloomfield, New Jersey office. She is an Environmental Engineer and Licensed Site Remediation Professional (LSRP) with 30 years of experience in environmental site assessment, investigation, and remedial action for Brownfield Redevelopment properties. Her expertise extends to large-scale Brownfield remediation in New Jersey and New York including landfill redevelopment projects. Ms. McSwieney works regularly with environmental attorneys and real estate professionals to find creative and cost-effective solutions to environmental issues that may be hindering a transaction or redevelopment opportunity. Her client base ranges from large industrial companies to redevelopers to municipalities.
Ms. McSwieney earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry from Rutgers College and a Master’s Degree in Environmental Engineering from Steven Institute of Technology. She is on the Advisory Council for the Brownfield Coalition of the Northeast (BCONE), Co-Chair for the Sustainability Committee for Environmental Business Council (EBC), serves at CIANJ representative for NJDEP Site Remediation and Reform Act (SRRA) 2.0 Stakeholder Committee, and is also active in NJSWEP and LSRPA.
