Rebecca C. Swanson, Esq. is the Executive Director of the Montgomery County Redevelopment Authority (RDA), an independent governmental agency that assists the County’s municipalities with economic revitalization through commercial, industrial, and residential development and reuse projects. As Executive Director, Ms. Swanson works with developers, property owners, non-profits, and municipalities to secure local, state, and federal grant and loan funds for redevelopment projects throughout the County. Prior to joining the RDA, Ms. Swanson was the Director of Policy and Planning for the City of Philadelphia Department of Licenses and Inspections, where she developed nationally recognized data-driven community revitalization programs. Ms. Swanson also serves as Vice President of the Board of the Pottstown Area Industrial Development Authority and serves on the Board of the Greater Conshohocken Economic Development Corporation. Rebecca holds a bachelor’s degree from Villanova University and a law degree from Boston College Law School.
