Mr. Levine has a unique skill set with the ability to bridge the gap between contamination issues and their impact on commercial real estate development and ownership. Over a thirty-year time period, Mr. Levine has been involved in redeveloping over $250 million of contaminated real estate. He has extensive experience in repositioning multiple asset classes including industrial, office, residential and mixed-use. Some of the companies he has worked with on environmental liability transfers include AGFA Corporation, Alcoa, CR Bard, Raytheon, WR Grace, Northeast Utilities, Dow, Dupont and Textron.
In 2010, Mr. Levine and Mark Reardon formed Andover Development Group (ADG), which concentrates on the acquisition, redevelopment and management of uncontaminated real estate. Mr. Levine also heads up the company’s portfolio and third-party management business. Over a 10 year period ADG has accumulated a portfolio of 17 assets worth over $90,000,000.
In 2015, Mr. Levine was awarded a Greener Cleanup Award from the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection for his innovative clean up approach to the redevelopment of an industrial building located in Billerica with a perchlorate spill to the soil and groundwater located in public drinking supply area.
