Mr. Alter has over 30 years of experience in the environmental and earth sciences. He has designed and managed multiple remedial investigations and remediations and has conducted hundreds of site assessments throughout the United States. Mr. Alter has provided litigation services for numerous hazardous waste cases. For ten years he was an adjunct professor at the Hunter College School of Health Sciences in NYC and has published numerous articles on environmental investigations and remediations. He authored “Environmental Consulting Fundamentals – Investigation and Remediation,” which is used as a textbook at several universities throughout the United States. Mr. Alter played a leadership role in the development of New Jersey’s Licensed Site Remediation Professional (LSRP) program and was nominated to serve on the SRP Licensing Board. He currently serves on the Board of Trustees of the LSRP Association and the LSRPA Foundation, which awards scholarships to students pursuing careers in environmental consulting.
